Scouts in Troop 16 have the opportunity to earn four awards from the Troop through the demonstration of Scouting's ideals. These awards are presented at the Court of Honor following summer camp and are judged by the Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmasters, and members of the Troop Committee.

Scouts who have been members of the Troop for more than one year and less than two years are eligible for receive the Richard J. Gibson Award.

The John A. Link Awards are presented in the categories if Leadership, Camping, and Scout Spirit. All Members of the Troop are eligible to receive these awards.
