Boy Scout Troop 16 - Evanston, Illinois
Navigation Bar

The Troop has three primary forms of communicating information to members of the Troop:

Weekly Callaround
At the end of each week's meeting, Patrol Leaders are given information about the next week's meeting. Each scout should receive a call from their Patrol Leader by Sunday evening letting him know important information about the next meeting. Callarounds are available here on the Troop's site and are emailed to members of the Troop community. If you would like to receive an emailed copy of the weekly callaround send Steve Appelbaum your email address.

Monthly Newletter

Each Troop family should receive a copy of the Tartan, the Troop's monthly newletter. The Tartan reviews the events of the last month and previews the upcoming month.

Long Range Calendar

At the end of each year, the Troop does long range planning for the next year and beyond. The long range calendar give an overview of the year and can be used to identify Big Deal trips in which a Scout is interested and which are more expensite than monthly camping trips.
