Any Scout who has served as a Patrol Leader or as a Troop Guide, has demonstrated a high degree of leadership, and who is at least 14 years of age and in High School may apply to Crew 16 for dual membership. All dual members of Crew 16 are active members of Troop 16. The crew has a separate schedule of events which include a Spring Stroll and Summer Treks. Crew 16 is the only High Adventure Explorer Crew in Evanston and any young man or woman may join provided they are no older than 21 years of age. The Senior Assistant Scoutmastes who work with the Venture Crew are also responsible for the Crew as its adult Advisors.
